Timesheet software for teams that bill their time
BetterFlow is timesheet software built by BetterQA, a software testing company that needed to stand behind the hours it bills. People log time against projects, managers approve it, and the reports go to clients as PDF or Excel.
What makes it different is the check on each entry: an AI model reads the description, says whether it is clear enough to bill, and suggests a better one when it is not.

Log time
- Add an entry for a project in the browser.
- Log the same work across several days in one go.
- Or install the optional desktop agent, which records active apps, windows and websites and matches them to projects with rules you set.
Write entries a client can read
- Each saved entry gets a score from 0 to 100 and a GREEN, YELLOW or RED verdict, with the reasons.
- For projects connected to GitHub, the check includes that day's commits, pull requests, reviews and issues.
- The AI can draft an entry from GitHub activity or from your Jira work, and you decide what is saved.
Approve and report
- Managers approve or reject entries from one approval screen, one at a time or in bulk.
- Export timesheet reports to PDF or Excel.
- Projects carry their client and the rates people work at.
Share it with clients
- A client portal shows each client the timesheets for their own projects, month by month.
- The same portal shows when people on those projects are on leave or on a public holiday.
Leave in the same place as time
Time off is part of the same tool, so a timesheet and a leave request never disagree about who was working. Requests, approvals, balances and public holidays per country are covered on the leave management page.

Is BetterFlow priced per user?
No. BetterFlow is one price for your whole company, not a price for each person.
Do people have to install anything?
No. Time can be logged in the browser. The desktop agent is optional, for teams that want the day to fill itself in.
Can our clients see the hours?
Yes, if you invite them. The client portal shows a client the timesheets and leave days for their own projects.
What does the AI check look at?
The description of each saved entry. It gives a score from 0 to 100 and a GREEN, YELLOW or RED verdict, and when the project is connected to GitHub it also compares the entry with that day's GitHub activity.
